French Bulldog Grooming Checklist
French Bulldogs have a short coat, but they still need regular skin, fold, ear, nail and dental care.
Weekly routine
- Brush loose hair with a soft grooming mitt.
- Wipe facial folds and dry every crease.
- Check ears for redness, odor or discharge.
- Inspect paws and trim nails as needed.
- Brush teeth with dog-safe toothpaste.
Bathing
Use a gentle dog shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Dry folds, paws and the tail pocket carefully.
When to call the vet
Persistent odor, raw skin, swelling, pain or discharge should be examined by a veterinarian.
